September: Dr. Adewale Fawole a certified medical oncologist affiliated with Florida Cancer Specialists spoke about the variety of treatment options for prostate cancer. His talk addressed the newly diagnosed and those who have been attacking this disease for years.

April: Dr. Patrick Acevedo, MD, is a medical oncologist who practices in the Sharon Morse building with Florida Cancer Specialists. He brought a brief overview of the latest news from the American Society of Clinical Oncology's annual conference held this past February.
March: Dr. Sheri Bisby, a neurologist, affiliated with the Neurology Center of Excellence in Lady Lake, spoke about legal, medical cannabis products available in Florida and the steps necessary to obtain them legally.
February: Mr. Todd Powell, director of the Villages Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center. Located in the Villages Regional Hospital, Mr. Powell displayed the data supporting the use of hyperbaric oxygen for a variety of wounds. Depending upon the situation, some care is approved by Medicare and secondary insurance. This information is particularly relevant to those suffering from wounds created by radiation years after the treatments.
January: Dr. Norman Anderson, CEO of the Robert Boissoneault Oncology Institute was more dramatic than a nuclear missile alert, with photos before and after of patients with disfiguring lymphomas, melanomas, breast cancer and others, completely cancer free after low dose, twice daily radiation treatments and many years of follow-up meetings. This was a block buster meeting for anyone with radiation options on their mind.
